Catherine Journal
Welcome! Thank you for visiting my blog. Cooking has been my passion since childhood. I love reading recipes online and in cookbooks, and of course, I enjoy cooking and documenting my culinary adventures. Most of my cooking is noted down in an A4-sized journal. However, inspired by a friend’s suggestion, I decided to put my recipes online. A physical journal can only be accessed when you have it, but an online journal allows my children to find our favorite home-cooked recipes no matter where they are. Some recipes here are from my mother-in-law, an amazing cook. When we lived with her, I often helped out in the kitchen. She was always more than willing to share her cooking secrets. The challenge was that, as an experienced cook, she rarely measured ingredients. Nonetheless, with her guidance and years of practice, my family now can't really tell the difference between her cooking and mine.
